March 1st and March 2nd
Message from Master Clarke:
I would like to present to your academy a four part seminar titled: 'Body balance; The art of Ageless living. Can Tai Chi reverse the aging process?' The key element here is habits. If a person can increase their workouts and add more hours per week and get as much exercise as their food intake, this alone would put them on the track to reversing the aging process. The average American consumes over 24 hours of food in a seven day period. The promotion of exercise and health awareness have increased over the last 25 years but still hasn't hit home. Our country is still looking for the quick fix. If we only could just take a pill. As you know, it doesn't work that way.
This seminar, which is part 2 to the first one, will reiterate the connection of the five internal organs: heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys. If these five organs are rejuvenated on a daily basis, through proper internal exercises, an individual can achieve great health and strength and a sense of body balance. This will be accomplished through the practice of the divine five element Tai Chi form routine. Open to all levels.
The second part of this seminar will concentrate on the secret Taoist meditation, which is a form of Chi Gong. This will teach you how to rid yourself of any illness, whether spiritual, mental, physical or emotional. This meditation form is very unique and powerful, with guaranteed results.
The third part will be on the divine five element straight sword routine. This routine will be a great addition to any enthusiast's Tai Chi repertoire. The essence of the five element sword is as continuous as a flowing river and is as graceful as the movements of a soaring crane. Just through the moves alone individuals will feel the flow of their chi in every move, strengthening the core of their spirit, mind and body. With daily practice, this will help with weight reduction and body toning.
The fourth part is on Moving Step Push Hands. In this part of the seminar, practitioners will learn to move with finesse and grace, learning to coordinate hand and foot and redirecting the energy of an attacker. Sometimes this routine is called the Tai Chi dance. When done properly, this routine looks like a Tango. This will help them develop their ting (listening ability). It will be fun, educational and full of laughter and will stress your ability to relax, which is the key and essential element to true Tai Chi success.
I am looking forward to returning to Austin TX and sharing with your family.
Sincerely,
Master Christophe Clarke
